What this is
A place to keep your 3D printing straight: what you are printing and who for, how much
filament is left, and which models have earned their keep. It is a board of jobs, a
shelf of spools and a catalogue of models, and it runs entirely on this device.
Your data lives in this browser, and nowhere else
There is no account and no server. Nothing you type leaves the device, nobody else can
see it — including whoever made this — and there is nothing to sign up for.
That also means it is not backed up. Clearing this site's data, or deleting the
browser, takes everything with it. Press the i at the top, then Your data,
and export a copy now and then — keep the file somewhere you trust. It is one file, and
importing it puts everything back exactly as it was.
What it is not
- It is not a slicer and it never talks to your printer. The printer box is a note to
yourself about which machine a job is on.
- It is not tied to any brand. Nothing here breaks when you change machines.
- It is not a shop or an invoice book. It records what you charged; it does not send
anybody a bill.
Put it on your home screen
Worth doing first — it opens like any other app afterwards, and works with no signal.
- iPhone and iPad, in Safari: press Share, then Add to Home Screen.
- Android, in Chrome: press the three-dot menu, then Add to Home screen or Install app.
- Windows or macOS, in Chrome or Edge: open the three-dot menu, then Cast, save and share or Apps, then Install this page as an app.
- macOS, in Safari: open the File menu, then Add to Dock.
Two things that are not guessable
A spool's remaining weight is never typed in. It is the spool's total minus every
gram you have logged against a job, worked out fresh each time you look — so it cannot
drift, and there is no number to correct. Log the grams on the job and the shelf follows.
Every job answers one question: who is it for, and are they paying?
Ordered is a print somebody is paying for — it asks who for and what you charged.
Asked is the same favour with no money in it. Gift is for somebody who did
not ask and may not know. Fun is yours. The buttons above the board light up for
the kinds you are looking at, so you can see only what people are waiting on.
If you get stuck
This welcome stays under the i button at the top. Pressing it opens a short list:
this page, what changed in each release, your data and its safety copies, what to do when
something is wrong, and the accessibility statement. Nothing here is a one-time message you
have to finish reading now.
